Sustainable Agricultural

Under the Sustainable Agriculture program, our primary objective is to empower farmers and communities to adopt sustainable agricultural practices that enhance productivity while minimizing environmental impact. Jharkhand Foundation Kendra organizes workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing forums to equip farmers with the skills needed for sustainable farming. These sessions cover organic farming techniques, water conservation, soil health management, and the integration of modern technologies for efficient and eco-friendly agriculture. This initiatives not only contributes to food security and economic development but also plays a pivotal role in mitigating environmental degradation and building resilient agricultural systems for the future. JFK also works closely with International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) in the project Rice-Fallow mapping in four states of Eastern India under the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India. This projects aimed at improving farming practices, enhancing productivity, and ensuring food security in the various states.
