COVID-19 and worldwide lockdown impacted the entire globe however catastrophically wedged the rural communities, migratns, and daily wages workers. While urban areas often bear the brunt of direct health impacts, rural areas have faced challenges like health, well beings and most important the daily food to survive. In order to contribute and help the needy peoples and providing them essential necessities, and food Jharkhand Foundation Kendra, has started “Feed the Need” campaign. In all three phases of this campaigning we have benefitted more than 1500 needy and helpless Peoples in a different remote village Bokaro (Jharkhand). Jharkhand foundation Kendra also helped the migrants moving towards NH-32 by providing food also as well other medication facilities to them who are barefooted etc. We also reached door to door with our food van in remote villages embarking on a mission to bring nourishment and joy. The food van has become more than just a meal provider; it’s a catalyst for community bonding.

Jharkhand Foundation Kendra (JFK) was initiated in 2012 by a troupe of 5 women social activists with a good understanding and real field experience of social issues and rural development.
