DR. JAYDEV KUMAR MAHTO

Dr. Jaydev Kumar Mahto is an ardent social activist who has dedicated his life to creating positive change in society through education. He serves Jharkhand Foundation Kendra (JFK) as a Executive Director, leads it and responsible for overseeing the organization’s overall operations, strategy, and mission fulfillment. Dr. Jaydev is Postdoctorate from the UAlbnay State University of New York, USA. He has obtained his PhD in Environmental Science & Engineering from IIT, Dhanbad, Master’s degree (M.Sc.Tech) in Environmental Science and Technology from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi and Bachelor of Science in Environment and Water Management from Ranchi University, Ranchi. In addition to his degree he also pursued P.G. Diploma in Health, Safety, & Environment from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu. Over the years, he has held key positions in various international organizations, focusing on issues such as Environment and Sustainable development. Born and raised in a typical rural village, Dr. Mahato recognized the transformative power of education early on and decided to channel his knowledge into addressing social issues
